Search agricultural machinery design, including wide spread boom sprayers is impossible to implement qualitatively without carrying out experimental investigations. Therefore, this paper is focused on the important aspects of preparation method for experimental research. Particularly, the analytical model for determining the approximation curve nature and the method of the calibration factor setting are given. The results of processing the experimental research oscillograph with reception of graphical dependences of normal tension in intersection of the investigated element of the metal construction are given.
